Susan Zeigler serves as the Assistant Principal at Manchester High School. A native of Atlanta, Ms. Zeigler spent a large portion of her life in Waycross, Ga. She is a graduate of Waycross High School, Georgia Southern University, University of Georgia, and Valdosta State University. Ms. Zeigler began her career in the business world as an interior designer and business owner. Her teaching career began at her alma mater, Waycross High School, and continued at Ware County High School. Ms. Zeigler is very excited to now be a Manchester Blue Devil.
Ms. Zeigler has been dedicated to helping the students as a teacher, Graduation Coach, Twilight Coordinator, and Assistant Principal. Her mission has always been directed at improving the educational level of the community where she works. “Community and parental involvement are key elements in the success of any school” stated Ms. Zeigler.
As the Assistant Principal at MHS, her main responsibility is to ensure all students have a successful high school career and are prepared to continue their education beyond high school. She particularly enjoys working with students and parents during the time of transition from middle school to high school. Among her many other responsibilities, she works with the scheduling and curriculum implementation.
Ms. Zeigler is the mother of two daughters, Emmie Zeigler Williams of Ringgold and Jennifer Zeigler King of Waycross. She is the proud grandmother of four grandchildren- Laney Williams, Lillie Williams, Kolby King, and Kaden King.
